Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete who is a part of the UFC at the flyweight division,. She is a Kyrgyzstani. She is older than fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko took home another medal in 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold in the year 2011, and was crowned in the position of IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia was a professional who started her professional journey in 2003, won in 2012 and the 2016 Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. The WMC World Championships were also held in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina last fought against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won unanimously. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she took on Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship of Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning in the second round TKO. The next two fights were won at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and returned to the ring with Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote. She was able to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina demonstrated her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. Antonina accepted a UFC offer after her victory. Antonina was offered the UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but fell in the second round to Roxanne Modafferi in the split decision. Antonina has recovered from her loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her three subsequent matches which included a win against Ariane Lipski, while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina recently lost by TKO in round two to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
